AMMPE World Goals & ChaptersThe goals of the AMMPE World and Chapters  are:

• to raise awareness of the issues affecting journalism and writing in general, and women in particular

• to promote gender diversity in these areas

• to provide an international network for women writers and journalists.

The presidency rotates every two years, and its biannual Congress is held in relevant country. The Presidency of AMMPE World from 2022-2024 will be based in Chile.

AMMPE's 2022 XXIV INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS was held in Rome from September 14-18, 2022. The topic of this year's conference was: "Post Pandemic: The Challenges of Journalism at a Global Level."
